Banana Bread Bliss-Balls

I am obsessed with anything that comes in a ball shape and is coated in delicious dark chocolate, hehe. These bliss balls tick all the boxes. They are the perfect pre-workout snack or afternoon pick me up.

Full of healthy ingredients to keep you satisfied and nourished.


Ingredients:

  • 40g vegan protein powder (vanilla recommended)

  • 1 cup of oats

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • pinch of sea salt

  • 1/2 cup of almonds

  • 3 large Medjool dates

  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 small bananas ( just over 1/3 cup mashed)

  • 100 g of dark or sugar-free chocolate



Directions:

  1. In a food processor or blender process all the dry ingredients together, oats, almonds, salt, cinnamon and protein powder.

  2. Once processed place in a large bowl.

  3. Blend the mashed banana melted coconut oil Medjool dates, and vanilla until smooth.

  4. Add the wet mix to the dry and mix well until all combined.

  5. Roll into balls and place in the freezer to firm for 30 mins.

  6. Melt the dark chocolate and coat all the balls, if desired decorate with some hemp seeds or coconut.

  7. Store in the fridge and devour!!
